looking for a place that has a good assortment of uilleann pipe’s. not just the usuall suspects, although there good as well. i hate i tunes . just thought i say that.
I buy used CDs on Amazon all the time. They’ve got a pretty good selection, plus, you can buy from Amazon.co.uk, Amazon.de and Amazon.ie for stuff that does not appear stateside. Also, Amazon’s Digital Marketplace for MP3s is pretty nice too if you don’t care about liner notes.
I know you hate iTunes, but they carry a TON of things I can’t find on Amazon. I wouldn’t rule them out entirely!

Go to bagpipediscs.com . It is run by an excellent piper on various types of pipes. Click on CDs , then on the Uilleann icon. Currently he has 60 titles and it is mostly solo or duo kinda stuff (i.e. not Chieftains). Great service too!

Do you mean it’s a pain to convert from their lame M4A/M4P format? Since blank CDs are so ridiculously cheap (heck, I pay wholesale through work, but even retail is cheap as chips) I simply burn the M4A/M4P content I download, then rip it back into iTunes as an MP3. See I still plan on listening to that burned CD in my car, so it works well for both needs.
I grant you I personally dislike “proprietary” format software garbage like M4A, but I understand why Apple did it. Luckily the workaround isn’t all that intensive!

You’re pretty close to Celtic Grooves Imports in Silver Springs Maryland. I don’t think he has a storefront but his catalog is chock full of hard to import items.
