My wife’s 41-year sister was found dead in her home here in San Diego last Friday, and the memorial service will be the afternoon of Saturday, October 8. We’re still waiting for the medical examiner’s report as to the final cause of death, but she had a long history of drug and alcohol problems, was clean and doing very well for a few months when she suddenly died.
As a result, I’ll miss all of Friday and will be heading up to the tionol on Saturday after the service, arriving probably around 5 PM.
I’ll almost certainly miss all the classes on Saturday, (someone please please record the intermediate and advanced classes for me ) but will be there to record the concert and play in the all-night sessions. I’ll be staying up in SJC on Saturday night and can participate on Sunday.
