About 2-3 months ago when I last visited Glenn Schultz’s whistle/flute workshop, I saw the flutes which were then in various stages of completion. They looked beautiful. He played one for me. The sound was beautiful high and low, loud and soft. He told me in Glenn’s very humble but direct discourse, that he was handcrafting 9 masterpieces. I believe him.

hi dale. thanx for the posting. yup, these are real D conical bore flutes,
tuning slide and all. recent improvements include reverse angular
undercutting of all 6 tone holes. 5 of real angry-looking cocobolo and 4 of
equally spectacular honduras rosewood. don’t know when i’ll be building
more, as whistle demand covers me up.
