Glasgow / Scotland Pipers

Hi,
Last minute post -
I have a Pipes Case, which needs a new home quickly. It’s as sold by Andreas Rogge:

I do a lot of travelling on planes, so needed something smaller and lighter to take on board with me. This case is suitable for a full set of pipes (or smaller), is made of very hard coated wood, metal ridges and edges, solid handle and locks. It’s the most secure pipe case around.
It’s totally bomb proof for pipes going in the hold of the plane, and you might get it on board with certain airlines (easyjet, British airways..any ‘real’ airline). But with flybe (who I fly most with) it’s too big for me, and I often need to have my pipes as hand luggage when I’m doing a short trip and don’t put any luggage in the hold.

Anway, if anyone in Glasgow or thereabouts would like this case - you are very welcome to it. I won’t ask a price, because I can’t take it on the next leg of my journey (leaving on Friday 17), and I’ll need to leave it behind if no-one takes it. Any gesture of payment, no matter how small, would be great and much appreciated, but whoever takes it must come and pick it up (Govan or Partick).
Cheers,
Calum

Is it big enough to live in? :wink:

I’m about to be homeless but the pipes aren’t – so unfortunately can’t help out.

New home found!
Cheers, Calum

Did you have any luck finding a case to take on as hand luggage? I’m looking for one myself. Thanks!

@JR
Yes, indeed. The pipetech case (available from lots of places, but I got mine from the good folks at the piping college in Glasgow) is great. I’ve got a full set which breaks down into even the smallest GHB case, so the pipetech case is great for taking laptop, flute, mics (and sandwiches too!).
