Seems an interesting site for someone wishing to enhance a vocabulary of basic nouns in either German or English.
Remind me never to take up the bassoon.
I notice for “Blimp” it’s called “der Zeppelin”. I thought that technically a Zeppelin was different from a blimp. Blimps don’t have rigid frames while Zeppelins, or “dirigibles” have a rigid frame. And “Zeppelin” is the name of the guy who made the first dirigible “lighter than air” vehicle.
Maybe in Germany, it’s like “Xerox”, or “Kleenex”, a brand name that’s become an accepted generic term.
What a coincidence, my friend just got a job with a German-based company, and was considering learning a little of that toungue.

Juror: No one who speaks German could be evil!
There’s no mention of Jimmy Page, either. I’m afraid I can’t see much value in this site.
