I’ve just been to my local music shop to buy a few bits and pieces. The guy behind the counter, who is a font of knowledge, told me that Generation have stopped making tabor pipes. I wondered if anyone could confirm this.
He also reckons that Feadog whistles come out of the same factory as Generation whistles…

Generation are based in Shropshire, where they “manufacture Generation Flageolets & Kazoos, Miller Browne Marching Flutes, Hidersine Violin, Cello, Double Bass rosins and preparations, AB Violin and Cello rosins, W.E. Hill & Son rosins, preparations & strings and the TGI range of guitar straps, capos and accessories.”

I have a gen tabor pipe in D and Dick (Dirk?) Bagwell’s (sp?) tape’n’tutor for anyone who’s interested. Nickel body, old design blue head.
