I would like to ask if anyone can give bore diameter and tube length measurements for a Generation d’ whistle(less head). It seems I have given all of mine away except 1 favorite(I have a habit of giving whistles away to cute kids and pretty Ladies 
. I need a second or third comparison to calculate a proper Fife head. I will post these simple measurements/instructions soon after.

i measured a nickle gen tube and mine is 11 3/16" plus a possible hair with about a .472 id bore. od of tube is 1/2" ( actually .502 , probably the plating). so i guess we’re talkin 1/2 " brass hobby tube.
while we are on the gen, i am looking for a d and c head. i cracked mine in octomy

i just have a gen d and gen c tubes lying around headless. i ruined them whilst tweaking- removing them they cracked. i would like to find replacement heads- fipples for them but i probably will have to by the whole thing. something in me hates to part with the bodies

It’s very easy to whittle new whistle or fife heads out of Bass wood for these Dear Tansy 
The hard part is making the toneholes and puting them in the correct place. That part is already done, yes? I’ll get back to you on this.
