FS/TRADE: Howard low D, Dixon alum high D

Aith-bhliain Fe Nhaise Dhuit

Brian Howard low D, 2004, bright brass with clear shellac. Minor wear-and-tear, plus I scraped the shellac off two thumb spots on the back to get my fingers lined up correctly. No pouch or case. Paid 80 quid while on a trip to the UK; asking $80US plus shipping. With two Burkes now, I’m no longer playing it.

Tony Dixon high D, upper half is polymer with brass tuning slide. Aluminum lower half. Includes plastic slip case. I got in trade earlier this year — looked almost new —and am not playing it. Whistle and Drum wants $56 for them; I’m asking $45US plus shipping.

Interested in swaps for whistle — B-flat, low E or E-flat, maybe even low C — or percussion: high-end bodhrán, doumbek or djembe.
