I’ve had it three months and used it sparingly, oiled regularly, and kept in a humidor at 50%. It is simply stunningly beautiful. My band mate describes it as sounding much more like a small wooden flute than a piccolo.
It does have a Cn thumbhole - VERY easy to use, not a hard position for anyone I can imagine. That affords a very nicely in tune low reg Cn and assures a dead-on high reg Cn. Or keep it covered (with the thumb or with tape, and play it strictly cross-fingered or half-holed.
I paid $750, just as it says on his site, and I would like $750. No wait.
