I promised myself that when I came out of lurk mode it would not be to offer whistles for sale. Well, this is not the first promise I’ve broken to myself. Health issues and job have kept my involvement in this wonderfully odd place at reader level. Whistle-wise, I’m slowly finding what works for me and what doesn’t. These whistles aren’t it. Hopefully someone else will match up with them: (priced for quick sale)

    [plus $5 shipping. Any more and I’ll make up the difference]
    F.W.I.W.-The whistles I am finding that suit me are Overtons and Humphreys. Overtons for the back-pressure (suits this ex-bass clarinet player) and Humphreys for an easier blowing but still able to take some grunt choice ( with a very sweet side also). Thanks, Philip
