I’ve got a really nice Oz whistle i’d like to sell, it’s a Vambrace in gidgee with brass mounts and slide. It’s a bit out of the ordinary in that it was designed to have a lot more back pressure. What this means is that it takes a bit more pressure to play it, but you get an amazing amount of volume, and a very quena, or flute like sound. I’m not playing whistle enough where I can keep this one played in, so I hope someone out there is looking for such a specialized instrument. I’d like to get $275, a fair price for one of the best wooden whistles out there.
O_Gaiteiro…
I was just on the Oz web site and the Vambrace whistles are $350. AUD which is $235.50 USD. I am just wondering why you’re asking for more than the list price of a brand new one.
I bought it from someone for $300, earlier in the year, never even checked to see what they go for on the site. I’d let it go for $240, you’d have to wait quite a bit to get a whistle like this.
