Dear Everyone,
I have started to learn playing the flute some years ago, but never could go deeply into it, unfortunately. Now I would like to sell my two antique flutes, it is better if they are with someone who can use them properly, and who can appreciate these historical instruments better than me, by playing them.
I cannot tell too much of their origin, but both were restored when I acquired them not long ago. I hope, I will find someone who has an eye to establish their origin and the maker, perhaps.
The first flute is an African Blackwood one with 10 silver plated keys. They were re-padded and adjusted 2 years ago. It is an easily playable one, with a strong and orotund sound. Its deepest note is low C with key. Photos:

The other one also has silver plated 10 keys, but its gamut goes deeper, to deep B. This flute needs a more practiced and routinished mouth. It tone has softer, but hotter vibration, a bit smoky feeling in my opinion. It was made of ebony I think, and it is in really good conditions. There are two scratches at two of the key-pillars, only an esthetical matter. This flute has a case in its price. Photos:

I would like to get 400 euros for each, but I’m opened for other acceptable offers. If one buys both, than their price is 700 euros.![]()

Unfortunately I cannot be called a flute player, even a wrong one, so I can’t make proper recordings, a soundtrack made by me would be rather discouraging for a would-be buyer. What to be done I’m only a piper…
I have friend playing the flute well (only lives too far from me), and he was impressed by them after a trial…
