Pretty much brand new tilbury Bb tuneable tin whistle. I am still new to whistles and this one is just very sensitive to breathe control that it is kind of frustrating my efforts because I just can’t get it to stop squeaking or jumping octaves. From everything I’ve read on tilbury whistles they are excellent players and sound good once you learn how to play them properly, but I’m just not there in my overall skill level, let alone to coax the sounds this whistle is capable of out of it. Instead of blaming the instrument, I acknowledge that it is probably (understatement) a reflection of my abilities and so would like to pass this whistle on while I continue on with the freeman whistles and shaw I have purchased.
