For sale: Gordon Galloway concert pitch chanter in ebony with boxwood mounts, nickel plated metal work, and three keys (F nat, G sharp, high C). Reeded by Allan Moller. Lovely chanter to play. Great feel. Bright tone. Great tuning.
This has been my back up chanter for the last few years, so hasn’t had a lot of playing time recently, and is therefore in great shape. Reason for sale is I am about to take delivery of a new Taylor style chanter by Michael Hubbert, which will better match my old Taylor style set, so it’s time for the Galloway chanter to find a new home.
Buying this chanter new would cost in the region of £1100. I’m pricing it at £750 ono, as I’m only looking to raise the balance of payment outstanding for my new chanter.
Thought I’d post it on C&F first before venturing to ebay.

Thanks
Rick
PS - The chanter is in London, so buyer will be responsible for arranging shipping.
