Heres the chanter in action- Paddy O Hare reed
Hi all
Just to say that i have played this chanter and it is a really lovely piece by Donncha. Impecable tuning in both octaves and very easy to play. As you can hear form the clip the tone of the chanter is both pleasent and powerful.
I have no interset in the sale of this chanter, I merely wish to give an honest opinion. This would be a great find for someone. Also aesthetically the chanter is beautiful.
Hi is the practice set still available? Cheers
Its not but i do have an incredibly nice Eamonn Curran chanter that is in my own humble opinion nicer than the Donncha one but it is in boxwood and I prefer the tone of that. It costs £640, if interested if you send me a pm with an email address i’ll send you a soundfile & some pics.
