I had intended to keep this Copley and sell the Marcus Hernon. But the best-laid plans often go astray. :roll: They are both wonderful flutes, but the Copley is more amiable (at least for me). This flute has excellent intonation (as measured with a digital tuner) and is very responsive. I was so impressed with this flute that I have commissioned Dave Copley to make a custom all wood flute. I’m just not a lined head kind of a guy, they do seem to speed up the response, but I like the all wood tone.
The flute is in excellent condition (Made in 2001) and comes in its original padded plastic case. The cork on the lower tennon was torn when I acquired the flute, so I just wrapped the tennon with waxed thread (this provides a good and snug seal).
Mrs. Copley has run off with another man. 
I’m really going to miss her.
