My girlfriend, Alison Perkins, asked me to put her flute up here for sale. It is a Michael Copeland keyless D flute. I believe it is in blackwood with silver or possibly nickel silver rings and and cover over a brass tuning slide. The head joint is fully lined. The flute is in very good condition, and was purchased used 5-6 years ago. There are no cracks or chips. The number on the back of the head joint is 04-21 and the maker’s name is on the front.

The tone of this flute seems best described as crisp and the bottom D is very powerful. I’ve tried my best to demonstrate both of these, however it’s a bigger flute than I’m used to (I play a Wylde) and I’m don’t think I’m getting everything I could out of the flute given a few more weeks of playing.
Hear me play it here:

Alison would like to get back what she paid for it, so it’s for sale for $1100 USD or best offer, plus shipping. Please pm me, or email either Alison at ceili007 at gmail dot com or me at nicolaslbrown at hotmail dot com (replace the ats and dots with the appropriate things). The flute is in Canada for the next week and then will be back in Michigan.
Edited to say that it’s $1100 OBO.
