Made in 1995 (stamped on the mainstock ) for a piper in Japan. In good conditon. Only Brass patina and minor scratches.
Chanter has full 4 keys. Ebony and brass with boxwood mounts. Mainstock and bellows probably Walnut or something similar. Bags and bellows are airtight.
At one stage the mainstock cup got burst open (maybe due to high humidity. Check the 4th photo below) so I made a new cup to match the original as close as possible (I will include the broken cup too). The cork joint became overly tight so the corks are replaced with normal thread rapping.
Also the straps on the bellows were cut back too short so I made new straps using the original fittings.
The drones are sounding steady and rich with the maybe original cane reeds. The chanter reed is made by me out of spruce. You can hear the set here

As you can here from the clip, the reed I made is not bringing out the best from the chanter both in tone and tuning, so I recommend the buyer to contact the original maker for reeds to get the full performance out of the set. For this reason the price is set lower than usual. I am selling this on behalf of my friend.
