I have a chieftain gold (solid brass) low D for sale. These were made in very limited quantities and have gotten pretty scarce! They have an amazing mellow tone and are highly recommended by the likes of Tony Hinnigan. This whistle has two very small, very shallow indentations on the back and side of the head of the whistle, I almost wonder if the whistle was made with them as I can’t imagine someone being able to dent this heavy brass.
