I decided to take AJTwo’s advice and hold onto the Burke. It is a great whistle and have actually played it more this week. Once I started again, I couldn’t stop. Wanted to let everyone know in case you come across this old thread.

Mine too, but I’m just spending all my time with my flutes. This Burke should be played as it sounds wonderful

If I were you, I might keep it as that might change. You never know when you’ll come back to something.
I regret I don’t currently have the money to buy the Burke, as it is very tempting.
