I’m reluctantly selling my Bueker model Baroque flute, made by Simon Polak about two years ago. It’s a beautiful flute at A415, in lightly figured and stained boxwood. It’s in excellent tune, and has a warm, delightful sound. I love this flute, to play and stare at, but must sell it for financial reasons. I’m asking $1,000 US, and only want to deal within the states. Not sure how to post pictures, but I can send them off-list. For better pictures than my camera can take, a similar flute can be seen at Simon’s website: http://www.earlyflute.com/
Also selling my Aulos Grenser model flute at A440, glossy model. Not a bad starter flute, for baroque or ITM, in like-new condition, for $150.
that is such a great deal for a flute like that !!
if you order a flute in curly Boxwood, the wood alone can be $600 or more add on to the total price, I think Casey had some at one point, but it’s so rare, and i know Polaks flutes are as good as they get.
eilam.
Gordon,
Sorry to hear that your selling your Baroque flute. By the way, I sure miss your imput to the forum. I always valued what you had to say. Best of luck.
Thanks – I appreciate that. I check in, time to time, to see what everyone’s on about… Often seems like the same posts from the last time!
The idea of selling this flute is pretty painful, I have to say. I keep hoping something will break for me, financially speaking, before it’s gone, but if it goes to another player, I guess that’s not so bad…
