Pat.

I am enquiring to the seller to find out the key. After listening to the clips I think it is a C set though. (Correction: it’s a B set)

Pat.

Sankewood? :astonished:

Yeah, it’s kind of like snakewood but doesn’t taste as good

The set is in C. Joe is renaming the topic for me.

Cheers,

PD.

It’s decaffeinated.

Good thing the pictures aren’t great. I could scarcely contain myself as it was! :boggle:

It’s been a long time since anything made my heart go that fast. Alas, I don’t think I’ll ever be schmart enough to be a full set guy and I don’t have $12k even if I were schmart enough.

Doc

At starbucks prices and a few tanks of gas , I could trade it all in for a mt bike , save the 12 grand in no time . Playing a set like that shouldnt take too much brains to figure it all out and get in great shape in the process .  :boggle:

…i’m sure the set tastes quite like chicken!

I listen to the sound files last night and played my Susato Kildare whistles and again today the only whistle that matches the pitch of the Andreas Rogge Fullset in Snakewood & Silver is my B natural whistle.

If you want to hear my old ( I once had) full set by Andreas Rogge in “C” snakewood, brass art ivory its on Clips and Snips.

Cheers

Fergus

sounds like B to me, too…

Yup. I vote B.

Doc

Pitch of those soundfiles is B and tonality seems like Rogge B to me too.

Yes it’s a B. sorry for the confusion!!!

PD.

… you certain now? :stuck_out_tongue:

Bog-oak ?

It just didn’t sound like a B set to me yesterday… I blame barometric pressure for that one  It has to be one of the nicest sets that Andreas has produced.

Pat.

Maybe you’re suffering from Flat-Ear. I hear it can do that to you.

I have yet to hear a bad sounding or ill looking set of his yet… and I hope I never do.
