Hello! I’m selling my beautiful 6 keyed D flute made by Michel Bonamy. I’m selling it in order to buy another instrument.
6 keys: Eb, 2 keys F, G#,Bb, C. All keys & rings in sterling silver. keys light, ergonomic, robust. excellent condition. new corks. Pratten type. Beautiful design and very good sound: warm, powerful and a bit breathy!

Those are unusual keys. Do I assume they are post-mounted, with the posts internal/under the key shapes?
At this point 87 people have seen this post and no-one has commented on the offensive Black Face image in the second picture.
Have we been desensitized to racism or do we just not care?

the 'black face ’ is a comic (bande-dessinée) by Frantz Duchazeau (famous in France) about the life of ‘Black Face Banjo’ musician in the USA in the end of the XIXth, it’s a book against racism!!! The linked article makes it clear that the BD (comic) is a historical exploration of blackface minstrelsy. I might not display a copy of Shirer’s Inside the Third Reich, with its prominent swastika on the cover, but that’s a matter of context and marketing judgment, not racism. So no foul, carry on.

Saw this just now and I fully understand David’s reaction. Gweniz you should think a bit carefully more about what people will see in the background of your photo. I doubt you would have used a nazi symbol as a background to the flute you are trying to sell. Duchazeau’s comic book "Blackface Banjo is a story about the minstrel era, fair enough, but the image on the cover is still racist, as are the images in the comic itself, the same as in the stupid Hergé comic book “Tin Tin in the Congo”. Bad form to show this image in a photograph on a public forum. It has nothing to do with the flute you are selling. Please remove the second photograph and put another photo up showing your flute without the comic book cover of the blackface minstrel.
Wonder if you will tell us more about the flute maker?
