I just wanted to let you know my multi-body set of custom Syn Nigerian Teak whistles are available. You can still see the whistles at the old listing below. I will get the soundclips up and running again for your to hear if you are interested. PM me if you are interested. Basically what happened is this guy was a “no show” and didn’t follow through. If you are interested, contact me directly through email or PM.
I was browsing eBay and noticed that you don’t have the word “whistle” in your heading. That means your listing won’t show up if someone searches for “whistle,” and will only show up if someone searches for “whistles,” which a lot of people might not think to do. So you might want to add the word “whistle” to your listing title. I’ve found that little things like that sometimes make a difference in how many people bid on a listing.
You might consider revising the title to something like:
3 Syn Custom Teak Wood Irish Whistles D-C-Bb whistle
You should follow Jerry’s advise. I have 5 different e-bay whistle searches and none of them are plural. I’m also your opening bidder. If e-bay limits your ability to edit after bidding starts, let me know and I’ll retract. I bidding for fun and would be shocked if the reserve were so low that I reached it.
Thanks guys. Mark, I can’t edit the title since a bid has been placed. I appreciate your offer to retract. If you do that, can you email me so I can make the edit before someone else bids?
I just realized you are not the only bidder on the whistles, and it appears enough people are watching the item that I don’t plan to change the title. This way, I figure that it will be a board member who gets the whistles
You’re not missin’ much Glauber but I can email you the files if you like. They aren’t that large. Is there a way around the problem? I am hoping that isn’t a problem for other people as well!
Just so you know for next time - even if all bids are retracted, you won’t be able to edit your listing title after anyone places a bid. Ebay still considers it to have been bidded upon and therefore all the usual editing restrictions apply.
I ended up having to cancel and relist an item due to this quirk last year.
Thanks for all the interest on these beauts! The auction is over and these whistles will be headin’ to a new home. My lone D will miss them sorely . . .
