I’m pretty much committed to playing mandolin in our session, so I’ve decided I’d like to get a better instrument - maybe a Moon or Fylde. For that reason alone I have to wave bye-bye to the following:
Gold Tone SS250 open back Irish tenor banjo.
I got this from Andy Perkins at AndyBanjo who is probably the UK’s banjo expert. It’s a lovely instrument - weighs a freakin’ ton. It’s about 6 months old and is in perfect condition. Including the padded gig bag it cost me £475 GBP. I’ll take £399, no offers.
Gold Tone CCIT resonator Irish tenor banjo
Also from AndyBanjo, but about a year to 18 months ago. In great condition, with gig bag. This one is probably more of a beginner instrument. Cost me about £345 GBP with the bag. I’ll take £200, may conside fair offers.
Epiphone ‘EB0’ bass guitar
Epiphone’s nice version of the Gibson short scale bass. Bolt-on neck. Lovely cherry red. Great condition. No case or bag. Cost about £200 GBP a couple of years ago. I’ll take £100, no offers again.
