In the August missive you mentioned the Slide Whistle. Over here some
of us know it as the Swannee (sp?) Whistle, thanks mostly to the long
running radio programme “I’m Sorry I Haven’t a Clue”. In each run of
six programmes it appears only once or twice, and this week it’s there!

The attached link should take you to it. It was broadcast today
(Monday) and will be repeated on Saturday. After that it may not still
be available on the BBC’s site. (Something to do with the broadcast
rights)

‘I’m sorry I haven’t a clue’ is an hilarious programme, an institution (or is that where the ‘teams’ should be?),and definately required listening each week for me!
‘Swanee Kazoo’ is a game where team members have to perform on those eponymous instruments-don’t know how ‘musical’ their efforts are-but they give me hope for my whistle playing! :laughing:
