wrong wedding??? Sorry, I caught one episode where someone got married and there was an uilleann piper playing in the front row. Just wanted to know who it was.

Yep. It’s an English piper who I don’t know more about. There was a chat about this at the time (years ago I suppose now). Maybe it’s in the archives?

Not that kcdwhistler is still living in the past, but to clarify: They just aired the special(s) on Friends, to cash in on the last episode… so I think they previewed this wedding just within the last 2 nights. Actually, while I wasn’t really watching it, I recall hearing a snippet of piping.

djm, are you kidding? Milwaukee beer is crap, except for a couple micro-brews. Miller tastes just like plain dish water, etc… but a lot of people here like it. Go figure…
Belgium is certainly the land of biodiversity when it comes to beer, and I’ve sampled more than one or two in my time here. it’s quite a contrast with the relative monoculture that I grew up with in Ireland.
My long-term allegiance is still to the black stuff, but I sometimes wonder if his competitors saw Uncle Arthur as the Bill Gates of his era.
