There’s a new book out which explores many of the traveller families who’ve brought so much to the piping world. The details are at www.johnnydoran.com. Oliver O’Connell, one of the authors, will be at the Saint Louis Tionol (www.tionol.org) giving a talk on Saturday afternoon about the book. He’ll have copies to sell and autograph as well for anyone interested. There’s a huge amount of material in this book that’s never been seen before and Oliver tells me he’ll have more to show in St. Louis.
