I shared a few pints with him back in Dublin when we gigged in Slatterys and a few other places. A kind and charming man who simply just loved to sing.

May he rest in Peace.

There was a great afternoon at the Cornwall folk festival in (I’m guessing at the year) 1993 when he talked about his songs and sang a few as well. His guest that day was Maighread Ni Dhomhnaill. One of those times you never forget.
