Found a Water Weasel!

Did a search last week on the internet for a Glenn Shultz Water Weasel, and found a place that had one so I ordered it…got it today. I feel very lucky to have gotten one…

In your own way, you have just spoken quite a truth, Rene. I, with many, hope that the Schultz family find a way to continue making Glenn’s fine instruments. However, emotionally, I am glad I managed to procure a Water Weasel that was a product of Glenn’s personal craftsmanship. The fact that the instrument came through a friend of Glenn’s, makes the whistle even more special to me…

The new instruments may even be ‘better’ in certain paramaters, but it will never be quite the same…I suppose one truly cannot go home again…

Best.
Byll

I was able to get a Glenn made Water Weasel from Glenn’s daughter Bree this week. They’ve still got stock, I don’t know how long it’ll last though.

They had a fair number when I was out there for the funeral. Also wooden whistles in various keys and maybe a flute or two. I believe Bree is reading mail sent to Glenn’s old e-mail : thnwzl@aol.com

She is reading that email.

Yes Bree is answering email to that address.

I was gearing up to buy my first wood whistle when Glenn’s family and the whistle community lost him.

I had a hiring bonus come in June. I’m very blessed to be able to provide a home to a couple of Glenn’s remaining whistles.

I was considering buying a water weasel for a while when i heard the sad news here at C and F. I then did all I could to find anywhere with stock of these whistles. I managed to find a D and C at Eldery instruments and I picked up the A that was on ebay last week. They are wonderful and I do feel that Glen’s heart and soul are in every instrument he made. I am happy to have got these whistles and will treasure them.
