“Turn to, and put out all [my] strength of arm and heart and brain

The limerick is rule-bound apparently.
No syllable wanders round errantly.
Anapestic the beat,
Well-defined as to feet,
In me no such tricks lie inherently!
I’ll take “lovely” with a grain of salt, but I will take that passing grade. I must admit it helped to look up what a limerick actually is. http://www.sfu.ca/~finley/discussion.html
Cynth, by her art, has now topped me!
My meter and feet are oft sloppy
And my rhymes are no use
Well, the only excuse:
All I write, every day, is prose copy.
I believe my syllables did improve quite a lot and I must say that you did have something to do with my determination to redeem myself if I could. Your quick wit, however, will never be topped by my slow, laborious efforts. emmline is in charge of wit for the female side.
So they are, as is the Social Organization and Society to Prevent and Surpress Redundant Repetitions; which used to be part of the OSSOARUR before a split over the question whether there should be two votes for one president, or one vote for two presidents. I am a member belonging to both of them the two organization.
