Hello all
I have me a 5 string banjo I purchesed from a retired gentleman a few years back. I play long scale tenor banjo mainly, and have never got around to becoming very good on the new 5 stringer. It is a Hohner brand, made in the early 80’s. It is very fine quality, not top of their line, but close to it. All mahagony, metal pot, has removable resonator. Almost immaculate condition, sounds fantastic! Comes with a case which is missing one latch. (the origional owner had his key stolen, and after a year of waiting for it to turn up, chisled off the lock! Case has 3 other working locks, and seals up fine.).
I’m hoping to get about $400 for it, or best offer. I’d also consider trading it for/defraying the cost with another Irish instrument, mainly seeking a bouzouki, concertina, or UP chanter.
Thanks!
