Just in time for Christmas! I have for sale a 1991 Kirk Lynch chanter in ebony w/ rosewood mounts. Has C nat key and a wooden chanter cap. I am a touring/recording musician and I have used this chanter on multiple recordings and on stage with such performers as The Eileen Ivers Band, John Doyle, Glen Road, Al Petteway and Amy White, Duncan Wickel (of the Cathie Ryan band), Rathkeltair and Neil Anderson. It has served me well over the years but I just bought a newer Lynch chanter and I never use this one anymore. It is a bit banged up with a number of dents and scratches earned on trips all over the states, Canada and Ireland, so it is definitely not in cosmetic “mint” condition. It does sound fantastic, however, and it comes with a fabulous reed made by Kirk several years back. Price is $500 + shipping (I am in the U.S.). A new keyless chanter from Kirk these days is $800. A C key and wooden chanter cap adds another $350. That is not counting the long wait or the fact that Kirk cannot find ebony of this quality any longer.
I also have available a lovely Martin DCM guitar w/ case that sounds amazing for Irish music and dropped/alternate tunings. $600 (or best offer) + shipping (also a bit banged up, but the list price for this guitar is $1100)
