I have a E flat Boosey Hawkes Flute for sale, 6 nickel silver keys 3 piece.
The long F natural key has come away from the pivot rod and will need re-soldered. I put tape over this hole and tried it out and the flute plays fine.
Their are no cracks in the wood. the flute would benefit from 6 new pads the tennons are thread rapped i prefer cork but i know some people do it this way.
I will post dimensions and pictures tommorow when i find my camera and look out a tape measure.
Total length from ring to ring 542 mm just over 21 1/4 inches length from middle of embouchere to middle of first tone hole 197 mm 7 1/4 inches approximately.
From the centre of the embouchere to the very end of the flute is 18 3/4 inches 476 mm.
I don’t know what happened to it Jem, the key looks to have came loose from the cylinder that runs through it ie it needs resoldered to the cylinder that holds the screw
