FOR SALE - Bellows with Celtic coin inset

I have a bellows that will be completed in the next couple days that has a Celtic coin inset into the cheek on the check valve side. It is very attractive and unique and is currently is not spoken for.

All the best,
CJ

how much is the coin worth ?

RORY

Come on, now. Its “Celtic”. It must be priceless!

Was wondering that myself.

Is the little gobshite Boston basketball team mascot on the ‘heads’ side or the ‘tails’ side?

Not priceless in monetary terms I’m afraid… just pretty

If I knew how to post a pic in here then I would show you. I will email anyone intested though.

All the best,
CJ

CJ, you have to post the image file somewhere else on the web, and then put a link to the image here in a post, using the Img tag.

This should do the trick…

… voila (or cello, whichever you prefer) here it is!

Thank you ladies and germs, I’m here all weekend…

Oooo! Nice bedspread! No visible stains or anything … :boggle:

It looks like an old ten pence or if its older two shillings . Is there a salmon on the other side ?

RORY

I’m afraid that is not it fella’s. That was made special order for a gentleman down in Florida. That particular coin is an Irish Stag Pound (2000) that I purchased from Ireland for him. The coin I am currently using is not coin in the sense of being money… it is a celtic decorative “Irish Blessing” coin… on one side it says “may your troubles be less, your blessings be more, and nothing but happiness come through your door”. The other side, which is the side that will be visible, has celtic knots around the perimeter and a celtic cross in the center.

Nice work, CJ! It will be nice when the chanters are ready, hopefully
with some soundclips.

Hi Elbogo,
Thank you for the compliment… Pics and sound clips of chanters soon to come!

Slainte,
CJ

Joseph, thanks for posting the pics. The pics are of the bellows Chris made for me. I had told Chris that I was going to post pics and tell everyone what great work he did on them but I did not know how to post pics either.

Anyway, to all the forum, the bellows are sturdy, good craftsmanship, and I like my coin. BTW, I live in Middle Georgia, not Florida and Joseph is the one to blame, when he got his bellows and made his comments about them, I immediately contacted Chris and got me one.

Again thanks Chris.

You know, we’re busting yer chops a bit, Chris, but I will gladly say that your handiwork is very well done.

Congratulations to you.

Thank you Gary for your great feedback, I appreciate it very much. I apoplogize for my Geography miss… I must have had Joseph’s cane on my mind

Thank you as well Brian… and… nothing wrong with a bit of chop bust’n in my books

Cheers all,
CJ

Here is the celtic blessing coin… I hope
