Some years back, Seth Gallagher fitted a mic (audio technica) that goes in the top of the wind cap. This is very good mic that is not only handy, but cuts down mic setup, feedback, and bringing additional gear to a gig, etc.

Noticed that its allready sold, but any info about that AT micmodel?
So What kind of microphone exactly was placed in the windcap? and is this what others such as Eric Rigler and Cilliann Vallely use to mic themselves? (I don’t know if Cillian still has a cord coming out of his windcap, but he use to) I thought they used some sort of transducer on the reed itself.
I THINK that it’s a small condenser mic, the kind you’d clip on to the end of a sax bell. It’s been a lonnnng time since I’ve even looked at it.
I 2nd the question!
