For Sale 4 keyed Sam Murray Flute (SOLD)

I’m selling my 4 keyed Sam Murray Flute in African Blackwood, not sure of it’s value. The flute is three years old and is like new with very little use. Several other Murray flute owners who tried this one claim this is better than their own. I’m selling to fund my pipes.

Please give me a shout with an offer

Thanks,
Deccy

You might want to note your location and where you are/are not willing to ship to.

Loren

I know it’s value…It’s clearly worth $89.95 and I’ll buy it for that price immediately. :boggle:

Eric

Heck, I’ll go a nickel more than Jayhawk, and throw in shipping, too

Bob

seriously you should contact Sam and contrast your price with his current offerings and delivery date.

What are the keys?

At the current price of about $90, do you really care?

I will go a buck above an seanduine and jump up to $91.

Eric

Will be interesting to see how much it eventually goes for.
I’ve got Murray flutes in my sights for the future. Sam Murray has a website that also has a price list on it. His waiting period seems pretty short (max of 6 months)! But that was 2011 so it may have changed.

Somewhere in the €1000-1200 ballpark is my guess.

Thanks Eric and Sean, great offers indeed!
Thanks Mr Blackwood I’d say you’d much closer to the mark.
Sorry guys the flute is in Belfast

A coupe of pics

Hi Deccy, sent you an email last night, may be interested…

Sorry Bogman, I thought I replied to everyone today. There has a brave few inquiries to reply to. Please give me a shout again as I can’t see any I haven’y replied too.

Deccy

Sam makes beautiful flutes, but I’m only seeing three keys on there. Looks like the bock is there to add a Eb key, though. Am I missing the 4th key?

And Mr. Blackwood…we almost had ourselves a deal. Shame on you for bringing reality into the picture (although your right about the price). :tantrum:

Think there’s maybe a Bb visible as well as the C, G# and long F?

I sent a couple of emails also- which haven’t been answered.

Right-- looks like the flute has the Bb… but neither the short F nor the Eb keys.

That would make sense…I think it’s one of Sam’s set-ups he offers as standard. I can’t understand leaving the Eb off, though…that’s the ONE note you can’t half-hole worth a darn.

Eric

Hi Julia,

sorry for the mix up I thought I had replied to you on my email account, I just sent you a PM

Deci

PS: picture clearly showing the Bb key the picture made it hard to see it.
