For people with AOL....celtic channel on AOL radio.

Have any of you noticed the AOL celtic radio station? I found it today and it isn’t too bad to listen to. I’ve got AOL version 7, it was free cause I would have never got AOL otherwise. Anyways click on the Radio icon at the toolbar at the top and scroll down to the world station, click and then click the celtic station and play. Like I said it’s pretty good and FREE, so you can’t beat it. It’s a good way to hear some music without paying for it. Check it out and sorry if this is a repeated item. But I haven’t heard Carlos Nunez, Carlos Nunez, Carlos Nunez… yet.

p.s. check out the world beat too if you enjoy arabic music…arabic music smokes.

Hey Jack - I found this a couple of weeks ago but it didn’t sound like radio, just recorded tunes, and I wondered if they played the same stuff over and over. Have you noticed if they do that?
Susan

I’ve only been listening to it for 30 minutes or so, they haven’t repeated any songs yet. It’s probably alot more like more like satalite radio, where there aren’t any commerials, and there’s probably a big list of tunes that they draw from.

I found it a couple months ago.

You just reminded me it was there.

It makes for good listening whilst browsing.

Also there you can check out the recording artist and order the cd if you so choose.

Have you checked out the other channels as well?

I have started my christmas cd wish list from there.

Happy listening

Are there any online radio stations that play trad. Irish music most of the time? I’ve found a bunch of Irish stations but they’re mainly contemporary/pop music.
