Folkworks Summer Schools present a unique opportunity to work closely with some of the very finest performer/tutors in the field of folk music, song and dance, to enjoy making and hearing great music mixed with fun and relaxation, and the chance to make new friends.
The Adult Summer School runs from noon on Monday 13 August until the evening of Saturday 18th August, and is open to students aged 20 and over.
The Summer School caters for a very wide range of ability- and experience-levels, though it is not for absolute beginners. Previous experience of folk music is NOT a requirement, and nor is the ability to read music.
