Is there a way of downloading all the MP3s in one batch without having to click on them singly? I’ve noticed trying to buy the CDs sends you off to a US web site and I’d rather not go through the hassles of customs etc either. And paying for the DRM version seems a bit strange if the files are available for free…
I downloaded all 229 mp3 files yesterday. Great stuff.
I don’t know if it’s legal to upload them as one big zip archive for other people’s convenience. Anybody?
Nice link, but is there a way of getting DownThemAll to recurse into a set of links to find the individual mp3 files? I.e. how to download this particular set of MP3s in a lazy fashion?
I guess it’s only fair that when you get something for free, you can be expected to click around a little bit to download the files. For convenience you can always buy the CD on the comhaltas site or from iTunes (or get a book on scripting languages yourself).
Thank you skh for a friendly and helpful answer to my question. I have indeed done the “clicking around a bit” - not really the best thing for RSI.
And for some reason you cannot buy the CD from the Comhaltas site - the link sends you off to a US online seller of CDs and I’ve explained why I’d rather not order a CD from the states (customs, delays, postage…).
And I could go off and apply a scripting solution to the problem, but a. its’ overkill, b. its’ work which could be better spent playing flute or earning money and c. I was asking whether the firefox plugin in question supported it
And in this case, the something is being offered for nothing and asking about a reasonable way to collect it does not seem to me to be out of order. It is not as if I am asking the Comhaltas people to reorganise their site to make it easier for me to grab the files?
