Returning to St. Louis I immediately
went to Music Folk in Webster Groves,
a burb, to see what they have flutewise.
They have a Casey Burns blackwood
flute with silver rings–I think
it’s a very good flute, in fact.
Also two Casey Burns mopane flutes.
Also several Sweet flutes in low
D, and assorted Sweet fifes.
Also they have Indian flutes
in cane for about 8 dollars.
Music Folk is a good place to
look at flutes and whistles,
one of the better ones in the
midwest. I say this because
I think people in MO and IL
and so on may not realize it.
Also all sorts of guitars,
mandolins, recorders, concertinas,
etc.
