Hello,

I’m a beginner looking for a good keyless “D”.

I thought I should ask if anyone had one for sale or trade (or a combination of both)

I am looking for something that would be good for a beginner that intends to play traditional style irish music.

I like all the common woods, I’ve tried mopane, boxwood, rosewood and blackwood and like them all. I definately want a tuning slide, I’m open regarding foot joint design and other items.

For trade: I own a professional design studio in Seattle. If you are in need of graphic design or programming, websites, multimedia, promotional layout etc. I would be happy to trade services for a flute or a portion of the cost. We have designed large award winning sites for entertainement, ecommerce, medical research, advertising and other industries. We’ve done work for Microsoft, Pepsi, Macromedia, Electronic Arts, Group Health Cooperative, Fred Hutch and the State Bar Association, among others.

I also have a postmounted 5 key factorymade wood flute to offer towards a keyless flutes with larger holes and a tuning joint (this one doesnt have a tuning joint)

Of course if you just want cash, that works too :slight_smile:

It looks like I’ll be buying a beautiful Casey Burns Mopane “D” from Mal Boyd.

Havent gotten the final confirmation from him yet but everything seems in order.
