I am trying to find a flute maker in Vermont. I know about Bryan Byrne in Chelsea, Vermont. He said that in a few mts. he might have a “simpler” flute available as my price range is limited. Does anyone know of any other makers in Vermont, New Hampshire, or Maine?

As far as I know, Bryan’s the only simple-system flute maker in the three states you mentioned. But if you can’t spend much money, there’s always Ralph Sweet in Connecticut…not just his own flutes but also the selection of antique flutes that he has at his shop, some of which are pretty good.
