Flook's Farewell

We wanted to wish you a very Happy Christmas and also to share some news with you.
After 13-plus years, hundreds of gigs, millions of miles travelled together and countless brilliant times,
we’ve decided to call it a day. It might be forever or a prolonged pause, who knows, but we’re all still great friends
and will always remain so. This might sound like a cliché but it is deeply truthful.

Huge thanks to every single one of you for your support and love.
We’ll certainly miss making music as Flook, but the light, notes and memories shine on in our hearts.

We’ll keep you informed of any important news in the future, for now our love and best wishes for 2009 and beyond.

I got the news. What a shame. I was hoping for a new album in 2009. It’s been a while since Haven. I was lucky enough to see them twice here on the mainland in 2007. For me they are still the best. They have always reminded me a bit of a Dutch band I’ve been a great fan of called Flairck, and for the same reason I got to buy their music and went to see them.
Brian, Ed, John and Sarah, we’re gonna miss you!!

wow - that’s kind of a bittersweet post isn’t it? Can’t imagine how that must feel for them.

Well, good part is they will probably join other projects, or make solo albums. Shame though.
