Flight case on eBay

Hi all, I’ve just listed a little used flight case on eBay:

It’s a long story really but this case was made for a set of UP’s I had last year (and no longer have) and a set of smalls and my whistles. I’m selling my smalls soon and my whistles fit neatly into my new UP’s case and so :blush: this is surplus to requirements :thumbsup:

How much does this thing weigh? I have been thinking of making something similar.

According to the eBay page, it looks like about 5 pounds.

:laughing: :laughing: I weighed it on me digital scales this morning and it weighs in at 17.3kgs hence the high postage costs. Great for travelling though :wink:
I wondered why the guy asked if I wanted castors on it :confused: :laughing:

Hi, I might be interested. will the fitted compartments come out easily?
I need a flight case .
Perhaps I could take a closer look :astonished:

For information, the fitted compartment is 2 separate pieces of foam laid on top of each other, each approx 6cm thick. The top piece although lightly glued could easily be removed and a new piece cut to your own specs installed, the bottom piece is uncut. Also inside the lid is another piece of foam fitting flush and also 6cm thick. :sunglasses:
