After almost 3 years of listening/trying to learn pipes, I posted my first tune on clips and snips. Yes it’s simple, yes it’s out of time, yes the little mike on the computer does little to enhance the sound or hide my mistakes, yes I play at the level that a 13 year old kid would reach in a month, but there it is. I hope that it will encourage other beginners, as they are struggling with the octopus, that they may eventually be able to play some semblance of a tune. I think that Ennis misspoke and actually meant to say 41 years. Only 38 left to go.
