Has anyone heard of a group called Finian? They come from California somewhere. I heard them last week and they sounded pretty good. I wondered if the whistler was a member of this board.

Hey! I’ve seen them and they are a good little band, but it’s the whistle player that steals the show, in my opinion. His stage presence is very subdued, but wow, can he play (assorted whistles, Irish flute, saxophone, flute, and piccolo in ONE show)!!! Plus he’s quite amiable, if you get a chance to see them, go up and talk to him after the show. I did, and he showed me all his whistles and some of the different tweaks he had done…sure wish I had known more about whistles back then…
