Finbar and The Boatmen played a gig in Yonkers, NY last night. Mostly songs along with guitar, banjo and a whistle. Only a few pipe sets. Afterwards, I asked him about a jig he played and he said it was called "Gary’s Gone To Australia" and he really liked it. So did I but I haven’t had any luck tracking it down. I thought he said it was relatively new. He said he’s recovering nicely from surgery on his right shoulder. I mentioned that Paddy Keenan comes through the neighborhood once in a while. He said (wink, wink) to tell PK that his (Finbar’s) shoulder is now as good as new and his piping has never been better! I think the plan is to get a laugh out of Paddy. Best, Pipey
