Right now it’s very primative unfortunately. The server we’re on in reorganizing and we can’t put up our cool stuff (calendar, message board, bios, etc) until they’re done. Right now all that’s there is a brief intro page and a photo gallery. By the end of the week the gallery should have descriptions, but for now you’ll just have to guess what the pictures are of.
I would reccomend pictures #4, 12, and 13 as good band shots (I’m the one in blue in #4), picture #14 is a great shot of the “bossum kid” we had at a show in Indy, and #37 if you want to see my mandolin player look like an ax murderer.
Congrats! Hey, the whole time I have been lurking here these days, I have been trying to teach myself GoLive via tutorials to do the same thing. It’s driving me crazy. We know we need to get a site up for gigs but I don’t want to upload just to turn around and figure out all the things I did wrong.
For musicians, I think simplicity is just damn fine! And will the WhiskyTones ever be jealous of your great name and concept!
Hey, I have to use this alias until I get my real account straightened out.
Our webdesigner is awsome. Not only does he really know his stuff, but he’s a really good friend of ours so he agreed to do the website for free as long as we write him a song. It doesn’t have to be a song about him, or for him or anything; We just have to write a song and then dedicate it to him.
I should really devise a hidden counter to place on that site so I can check the percentage of visiters who click on the “Do not click this link” link. An interesting sociological test I think. I’ll see what I can do.
