ok, thanks to everybody’s help and answers on here, and a lot of research. i have finally chosen which flute i am going to get. i am going to get a CB flute with rings. the only problem is money and figuring out to get pratten or rudall. i will just have to ask him which he thinks will suit me best.

Check with Casey, but I think he has discontinued his Pratten in favor of the Large Holed Standard model. It’s probably very Prattenish. I’m itching for a Burns flute myself. I’m thinking Large Holed Standard in Mopane without the rings. I’m a solo player and resale value or not, I’m having a hard time justifying the rings/slide to myself.
I’ll be curious what his estimated delivery time is.
